Groups on residential KS4/5 and Confirmation retreats are now accommodated in Chantry Lodge where a total of 64 beds are available, mostly in rooms with a bunk-bed although some rooms accommodate 4, 6 or 8 guests.  There are three en-suite rooms: one in each of the first floor wings and one on the ground floor. The last year has seen a programme of improvements which will continue into 2012: despite our move to a new site sometime after the 2011-12 academic year, we feel it is important to ensure that retreatants are suitably comfortable up to the last day of the last residential retreat at SPEC.  In the last year we have:

• Redecorated the bedrooms and corridor in the West Wing.
• Fitted a new 'wet room' and shower in the West Wing.
• Repaired water damage in a utility room next to the kitchen and fitted it as a kitchenette for guests.
• Replaced a water damaged cieling in the ground floor ensuite room.

This year we hope to redecorate the entrance and main stairwell.
