During the summer period when Team and staff normally on school & Parish retreats & programmes take a breather and are preparing for the autumn, we have developed a wonderful Summer Volunteer programme.
For 8 weeks we welcome 12 volunteers who help with maintenance, hospitality,
Catering and housekeeping, but most importantly they allow us to do a rolling programme of much needed painting and decoratiation
This summer we painted the WEST wing of SPEC Centre, a number of team bedrooms and some areas of Loft towers and the large hallway in Chantry Lodge.
This summer volunteer group enable also the smooth running of brightlights Festival, erecting marquees and work within the large grounds to take place.
Our gratitude for this hardworking, prayerful gang of Catholic young adults who volunteer their Summer to the practical tasks needed to run a full Summer of bookings which help enormously towards covering the financial costs of the Centre.

To apply for a position of joining the Summer Volunteer Project team you need to be available for 6-8 weeks and start between 17-29 June and finish between 17-24th August. Call Mags for an application form
