In March of 06 Sandra and Simon responded to the invitation to the launch of Feltham Community Chaplaincy Project. FYOI Chaplaincy Team are reaching out to faith communities across London to help support young men at Feltham Young Offenders Institute re-integrate into the community.

Since then SPEC has been privileged to visit Feltham on 3 occasions and delivered some groupwork to groups at the Chaplaincy. Some team at SPEC hope to be trained as mentors in the new year to offer follow up to a small number of the guys.

In January Sandra is meeting with the community Chaplaincy, volunteer agencies and the Jacob Project to help develop opportunities for young exoffenders to get involved in appropriate volunteering opportunities.
